Win Sephora products

July 3, 2008

Sephora opens at Fayette Mall at 10 a.m. next Friday, July 11 — not a minute too soon for the beauty store faithful.

On opening day the mall will offer refreshments 10 to 11 a.m. and a portion of Sephora sales will go to Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Also, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 24, the locally based fashion and beauty site Hautemommastuff.com will host a free event at the store, with refreshments and giveaways.

My favorite Sephora product of the moment is Caudalie’s Eau de Beaute’ Beauty Elixir. The name isn’t very descriptive- it’s a marvelously refreshing misting toner. I use it every morning before I moisturize, and it also comes in a smaller purse size that’s handy for emergency complexion pick-me-ups!

I am soooooooooo excited about having a Sephora closer to home than Louisville! YAY!

I can’t wait for Sephora! I order online and visit the Louisville store often. I love anything from NARS and the Makeupforever line. I also love browsing for new skincare and hair products.

I love Sephora. My favorite products are Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and Sephora brand gloss lipstick.

Since moving to KY three years ago (from the San Francisco Bay Area) I am thrilled to finally be able to buy all my Laura Mercier products close to home – and not have to make a drive to Louisville.

I have been using the Laura Mercier makeup since 1998, and my very favorite product is the Foundation Primer. But all of her makeup is my favorite. There are so many eye colors to chose from and lots of fun lipstick colors.

So looking forward to my visit to Sephora!

Good to have a Sephora closer than Louis. I do love all Laura Mercier products. However, recently was introduced to Per-fekt foundation. It is a skin perfection gel that goes on llike silk. I’m definately “older” and it never catches in my wrinkles but leaves face so smooth yet well covered. My daughter,in her early thirties, also uses it so it is for all ages. The Best!!

I love all Laura Mercier products. However, have found a foundation that goes on like silk and leaves no residue in my wrinkles. Per-fekt skin perfection gel is the best for all ages!

i am very glad the Sephora store is opening in Fayette Mall. My daughter introduced me to Sephora . She gave me bare minerals make-up (the entire kit brushes and all) I love the bare minerals face color warmth I use it like a bronzer (it is) on my cheeks nose forehead and some times on my bare shoulders to get a touch of sun-kissed color. I enjoy your column I love to read about fashion and shopping.

I am so excited about Sephora coming to Lexington…finally! I first learned of this fab. store when I traveled to Europe. Its a one stop shop for all of your cosmetic needs, which I luv. I love that they have the Sephora line of products that are very affordable. I have so many favs from this store and I can’t wait to see what’s new!

I love the mascara called “Kiss Me.” It doesn’t run underneath your eyes. It creates little tubes around your lashes. I also love “foot patrol” for rough heels. and so much more. Thanks

I love the “only at Sephora” products, especially the collections of several different products from one line, that are offered in small sizes to sample. I’ve discovered Bliss “the youth as we know it” concentrate, Philosophy Purity face wash, and Benefit blush in this way, all current favorites of mine.

My favorite Sephora product is one that I always saw recommended in magazines and finally decided to try–Nars Orgasm Blush–it is wonderful! I noticed on the receipt it had the words “multiple orgasm” which sounded like I was buying something a lot more fun than blush!!!!

My daughters and I love the Rosebud Salve from Sephora. It comes in a little tin and lasts forever! It has a nice mild scent and is designed to be used as a lip gloss or a salve for burns and cuts. It is terrific!

I am so excited to have Sephora in Lex. I won’t miss the drive to Louisville to get the NARS blush. The color stays on and stays true for hours. The best I have ever used.

I LOVE Nars Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer! They are perfect for almost any skin tone and go great together. I have been super excited since they started working on the store, and I am so glad it is finally opening!

I discovered my first Sephora in Chicago, IL while vacationing with my best friend. At that time, I fell in love with a new perfume fragrance called Eau des Merveilles by Hermes. I din’t buy it at the time because of the cost. About a year later I went into my second Sephora in Las Vegas, NV. I broke down and bought the perfume. I am almost out of that fragrance so my first purchase at the new Sephora will be a bottle of Eau des Mervielles.

I love Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Philosophy Hope in A Jar, and Philosophy Purity Made Simple!!! I am so excited to have a Sephora so close to home. I love trying new products and can’t wait to make my first trip!!!

I am so excited about the Sephora in Lexington. My all time favorite product which I absolutely cannot be without is Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. If I am rushing out the door and only have a minute to prepare my face, I can always put on lip gloss, blush, and brush my entire face with mineral veil and I really look presentable for anything. It covers flaws and morphs into my skin for a great effect. thanks for your column… Debbie

I must confess that I am a makeup junkie and at Sephora I am like a kid in a candy store.No more trips to Louisville to get my makeup fix!
My favorite products are Nars Orgasm blush,(best color in any brand), Smashbox photo finish primer, and the Sephora brand eye shadows.
I can’t wait until Friday morning!

I was so happy when I found out that Sephora was opening up at the Fayette Mall.

My favorite product is Sephora GONFlant leave-in volume enhancing treatment. I first tried this product when I was in Italy in May and needed something different to style my hair.

Rosebud Salve is my absolute favorite thing I’ve tried. I use it every night on my lips and anytime my kids or I have any extremely dry patches of skin it works great!

I love bare minerals products at Sephora, but then again, what’s not to like at Sephora?! I love to browse around and find unique items you can’t find elsewhere.

I have been using philosophy products for several years. I cannot live without Purity Made Simple or Hope in a Jar. I also use the Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion. I get so many compliments when I wear this. To have a Sephora in this area is such a convenience. We no longer have to pay shipping and can also see many more products available and expertise on them too. Wow!!

I just want to put my two cents in about Sephora. I love Sephora and I am glad that I have work off that day to go to the opening! I am looking forward to getting Stila and Laura Meicier products and also finally getting a chance to try NARS products!

It’s just too hard to narrow my “favorite” Sephora product to one…so here’s short list of several: Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash is wonderful for an everyday facial in your own shower, Bliss’s Youth As We Know It is a multi-tasking moisturizer that is great for us gals trying to preserve our youth, and any color product by NARS is to die for, especially their fabulous eye shadows and liners!

I have been shopping at Sephora, either online or by traveling to Louisville or Cincy for years. I am soooo excited that we are FINALLY getting a Sephora here in Lexington!!! Yippie!!

my absolute favorite Sephora product is the Rosebud Salve in strawberry. I found it at a boutique in NYC and the only other place i’ve found it is Sephora. it’s the greatest chapstick/lip gloss for girls that don’t wear lip stick.
